Siri Tunaal White was born in Oslo, Norway.

She holds a BA in Textile Design from the University of Leeds, UK as well as a diploma in handloom weaving from The Teacher Training College for Arts and Crafts, Oslo, Norway.

Furthermore, Siri holds an MA in Education from the Open University, UK, and a diploma in Translation from from the Institute of Linguists, London, UK.

She is a member of the Dutch guild for translators and the Institute of Linguists.

Siri and her husband Roger, have lived in the Far East, the Middle East, West Africa, the USA, Northern Europe and now, the British West Indes. They have two grown up children.
